Job summary

CAXTON ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a hands-on Warehouse Operations professional to supervise daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading and dispatch activities on site.

You will ensure productivity, accuracy, inventory integrity, and safe operations, while coordinating with procurement, sales, logistics and customer service to maintain smooth material flow.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory control, and logistics operations.
• Experience supervising and motivating a team.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically able to work in a warehouse/site environment and handle operational demands.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading, and dispatch activities.
• Ensure warehouse operations meet productivity, accuracy targets.
• Monitor inventory movements and maintain accurate stock records.
• Conduct regular stock checks and coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damaged goods, and operational issues.
• Ensure proper warehouse layout, housekeeping, and space utilization.
• Coordinate deliveries, collections, and transportation activities with relevant teams.
• Allocate manpower and work assignments according to operational requirements.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, productivity, and work performance.
• Warehouse procedures, equipment usage, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, logistics, customer service, and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe operation of warehouse equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs Tools/equipemnts when required.
