Job summary

Align Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking an Import or Export Customer Service professional in Singapore to manage daily logistics communications and documentation for export and import operations.

You will handle bookings, provide flight information within one hour, ensure compliance of export documents, and collaborate with planning, operations, warehouse, and sales teams.

The role requires experience with Cargowise One and strong communication, with a salary between 3500 and 4000 SGD monthly.

Qualifications

• Relevant working experience.
• Must have Cargowise One system experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct customer contact providing excellent, amiable, trustworthy service.
• Provide flight information to customers within one hour after booking is received.
• Ensure export documents are compliant when processing export work orders.
• Apply for export permissions and expedite processing of other export customs.
• Answer all calls within three rings.
• Monitor shipment status and notify customers of irregularities.
• Coordinate with planning, operations, warehouse and traffic teams.
• Ensure freight rates are accurate and up-to-date.
• Stay updated on airline or government requirements.
• Submit monthly customer reports on time.
• Communicate with internal and external parties regarding shipment status.
• Track and organize shipments per SOP.
• Coordinate with sales and other functions on unique arrangements.
• Create bills, reports, and schedule cargo deliveries using Cargowise One.
• Collaborate with colleagues, clients, suppliers, operations and sales to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports, bills and deliveries.
• Prepare daily reports to track and revise operations.
• Maintain strong verbal and written communication.
• Communicate effectively with Sales, Customer Service, and clients to meet deadlines.
• Maintain tidy and well-organized workspace.
• Follow-up effectively with basic knowledge of key account management.
