Job summary

Align Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking an AI Specialist to lead AI development and digital transformation across retail and business operations. This new role will help build the company’s AI capabilities to improve efficiency, automate internal processes, and strengthen SOPs.

You will design scalable AI solutions, develop technical roadmaps, and work with stakeholders to implement practical AI across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in AI, digital transformation, process automation, system design, ERP, or technology project management.
• Strong understanding of AI frameworks, machine learning concepts, automation tools, data analytics, and cloud or hybrid environments.
• Good understanding of business workflows, SOP improvements, and process optimisation.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, consumer goods, logistics, or enterprise operations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with PDPA, data governance, cybersecurity, AI governance, or ISO standards is a plus.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s AI strategy, technical roadmap, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Design scalable AI frameworks and solutions to support process automation, workflow improvements, and operational efficiency.
• Review existing business processes, SOPs, reporting, planning, and fulfilment workflows to identify opportunities for AI adoption and digitalisation.
• Analyse business requirements, evaluate available options, and translate agreed initiatives into practical technical designs and implementation plans.
• Manage the full AI solution lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with stakeholders across Operations, IT, Finance, Retail, Logistics, and other business units to understand their needs and drive AI adoption.
• Manage AI projects across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments, ensuring scalability, security, and long-term sustainability.
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, suppliers, and external consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Resolve technical issues and negotiate solutions with vendors and suppliers to keep projects on track.
• Establish AI governance frameworks and ensure alignment with PDPA, data protection, cybersecurity, internal controls, and relevant governance standards.
• Evaluate AI tools, automation platforms, ERP enhancements, and other digital solutions to support business transformation.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations covering project progress, business impact, ROI, and transformation outcomes.
• Provide guidance, training, and change management support to facilitate the adoption of AI tools and automated processes.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in AI implementation, digital transformation, process automation, system design, ERP, or technology project management.

• Strong understanding of AI frameworks, machine learning concepts, automation tools, data analytics, and cloud or hybrid environments.

• Good understanding of business workflows, SOP improvements, and process optimisation.

• Experience in retail, FMCG, consumer goods, logistics, or enterprise operations will be an advantage.

• Familiarity with PDPA, data governance, cybersecurity, AI governance, or relevant ISO standards will be an added advantage.

• Strong project management, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
