Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an AI Product Owner, AT Cost, to join its Smart Manufacturing and AI organization.

You will identify, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions that reduce costs across Back-End (Assembly & Test) operations, partnering with AT Cost, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Program Management. The role requires deep knowledge of AT processes, cost drivers, and the ability to translate manufacturing challenges into scalable AI products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 5+ years in cost management, value engineering, manufacturing optimization, or operations excellence.
• Mandatory experience in Assembly & Test (AT) operations within semiconductor manufacturing.
• Strong business case development and financial analysis abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-enabled cost reduction and value engineering across Assembly & Test operations.
• Collaborate with AT Cost and cross-functional teams to identify high-value cost opportunities.
• Develop business cases, ROI assessments, and value-tracking mechanisms.
• Partner with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to define AI product requirements.
• Analyze cost structures, processes, material usage, labor productivity, and equipment utilization.
• Quantify and communicate financial benefits and operational impact of solutions.
• Translate manufacturing and cost challenges into actionable AI use cases.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and change management for successful adoption.
