Job summary

CHINA TELECOM (ASIA PACIFIC) PTE. LTD. is seeking an AI Presales Technical Support professional in Singapore. You will discuss customer requirements, analyze AI use cases, and design end-to-end AI+telecom solutions integrating CTG’s network, cloud and security products.

The role requires 3–5 years ICT experience, strong ML/NLP/CV/LLM skills, and fluency in English and Chinese. Collaboration with account teams and tender support are key aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of ICT industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of ML, NLP, CV; LLMs (GPT, Claude, ERNIE Bot, Qwen); RAG, AI Agents, prompt engineering, fine-tuning.
• Solid cloud computing foundation across public/private/hybrid, GPU compute, AI center network architecture.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills; bilingual in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Provide presales technical support for AI solutions, including requirement discussions, use-case analysis, solution design, and presentations.
• Design integrated AI+telecom solutions for intelligent networks, SecOps, AIoT, and enterprise deployments.
• Prepare AI technical proposals and respond to RFIs/RFPs; collaborate with Account Managers on technical talks.
• Support tender/bid activities with technically feasible and implementable solutions.
• Stay updated on AI trends (LLMs, AI Agents, Multimodal AI) and translate into practical solutions.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Presales Technical Support: Provide presales technical support for AI-related solutions, including customer requirement discussions, AI use-case analysis, solution design, technical presentations, and configuration clarification. Address the complex digital transformation needs of multinational corporations (MNCs) by integrating AI capabilities with CTG's network, cloud, and security products to deliver end-to-end technical solutions;
2. AI Use Case & Solution Design: Design integrated AI + Telecom/ICT solutions based on customer business scenarios, covering areas such as intelligent network operations (AIOps), intelligent security operations (SecOps), AI computing centers, enterprise Large Language Model (LLM) deployment, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) knowledge bases, intelligent customer service, AIGC applications, Edge AI, and AIoT platforms;
3. Technical Documentation: Prepare AI-related technical solutions and Technical Proposals, deliver solution presentations, and address customer technical inquiries. Work closely with Account Managers to conduct technical discussions and solution presentations. Demonstrate strong cost awareness and sound knowledge of budget management;
4. Tender & Bid Technical Support: Participate in tender and bidding activities for AI-related projects, including preparation of technical bid documents and responses to RFIs (Requests for Information) and RFPs (Requests for Proposal), ensuring that proposed solutions are competitive, technically feasible, and implementable;
5. Industry Insights & Technology Commercialization: Keep abreast of AI industry trends and emerging technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Multimodal AI, and LLMOps. Analyze competitors’ AI product strategies and translate emerging technologies into practical and commercially viable solutions, providing insights and data to support sales strategies;
6. Market Enablement & Sales Support: Support the sales team in the marketing and promotion of AI-related products and solutions. Organize and deliver regional AI product training, sales enablement, go-to-market support, sales messaging, and other product development and market expansion activities;
7. Internal Resource Coordination: Coordinate internal AI capabilities and resources, including HQ AI platforms and Cloud Capability Centers, to support the successful implementation and delivery of regional AI projects;
8. Customer AI Consulting & Transformation Planning: Provide AI technology consulting services and assist customers in developing their AI transformation roadmaps. Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the presales and post-sales stages and provide necessary technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and service continuity;
9. Ecosystem Partnership & Solution Integration: Collaborate with ecosystem partners, including cloud service providers, AI technology vendors, and system integrators, on technical integration and solution development to build a strong AI + ICT ecosystem and solution capability.

Qualifications

1. Work Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry;
2. Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computer Vision. Familiarity with the principles and applications of Large Language Models (LLMs), including mainstream models such as GPT, Claude, ERNIE Bot, and Qwen. Knowledge of AI application technologies such as RAG, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, and Fine-tuning. Solid foundation in cloud computing, including Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud environments, with an understanding of GPU computing infrastructure and AI computing center network architecture;
3. Core Competencies: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to rapidly evolving technologies;
4. Teamwork & Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships across teams;
5. Language Proficiency: Effective bilingual in English and Chinese because the candidate needs to liaise with both English and Chinese speaking stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Hands-on AI Project Experience: Practical experience in implementing AI projects, such as enterprise LLM deployment, intelligent customer service solutions, AIoT platforms, AIGC applications, or other enterprise AI use cases;
2. AI Development Tools: Familiarity with AI development tools and frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch;
3. Cloud Certifications: Relevant cloud computing certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure, Huawei Cloud, China Telecom Cloud (eSurfing Cloud), or other major cloud service providers will be an advantage.
