Job summary

Autodesk Singapore Research & Development Centre is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join the AutoCAD Engineering team, contributing to the quality and reliability of next‑generation AutoCAD products. You will collaborate with product owners, software engineers, and UX teams to validate functionality, APIs, and customer workflows.

You will design and maintain automated tests, build testing frameworks, and apply AI‑assisted quality engineering to improve efficiency, coverage, and defect

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field with strong academics or relevant experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in software development, software testing, quality engineering, or related areas.
• Strong programming and problem solving skills across C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Experience with AI-powered development tools such as Copilot or similar coding assistants.
• Understanding of software quality assurance, testing methodologies, and SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design test strategies, create test plans, and execute manual and automated tests for features and workflows.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for unit, functional, API, integration, and end-to-end validation.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks, tools, and testing infrastructure.
• Estimate, plan, and coordinate software testing tasks and test plans; execute them to validate feature quality.
• Utilize AI tools to generate and improve test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Review AI-generated code, tests, and specifications for quality; participate in SDLC, TDD, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Perform API, performance, interoperability, and code coverage testing.
