Job summary

Singlife is seeking an AI Engineering Lead to be the technical authority of the AI Platform Engineering. You will own end-to-end delivery of AI solutions, from design with the Enterprise and Cloud Architects to production delivery, ensuring quality and governance.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide solution design, review implementations, and shape the engineering discipline across the AI Platform Engineering function, working with cross-functional teams in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software or AI engineering experience, with at least 3 years in senior technical lead roles.
• Proven track record delivering AI/ML/GenAI solutions in production environments.
• Deep understanding of AWS AI and cloud-native services (Bedrock, SageMaker, Textract, Comprehend, OpenSearch, etc.).
• Experience with LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings and vector stores.
• Production-grade Python with CI/CD, testing, observability.
• Experience overseeing vendor-delivered AI solutions.
• Familiarity with AI risk management, model governance and responsible AI controls.
• Experience in regulated financial services or insurance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI solution design from intake to production.
• Define AI engineering layer on AWS and core AI stack usage.
• Lead technical design across Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenSearch etc.
• Collaborate with Enterprise/Cloud Architects and governance teams.
• Lead the AI Platform Engineering team and mentor engineers.
• Oversee vendor-delivered AI solutions and ensure production readiness.
• Establish CI/CD, testing, observability and runbooks.
• Ensure governance artifacts and security controls are in place.
