Job summary

Palo IT Singapore is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead AI-native, Gen-E2 driven software delivery. You will own technical direction, provide full-stack expertise, and shepherd decision-making while embedding AI into engineering workflows.

You will mentor engineers, drive best practices, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to design scalable, secure applications that meet business goals. A dynamic, globally engaged team awaits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, including client and team management.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Deep expertise in full-stack development with ReactJS frontend and NodeJS/Java/Python backend.
• Strong knowledge of AI tooling in daily engineering work (Copilot, Cursor, etc.).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and roadmap for engineering projects.
• Provide full-stack expertise and establish best practices on code quality and performance.
• Lead technical decision making and provide thought leadership.
• Give architecture-level and code-level feedback to the team.
• Drive delivery quality through automated testing, CI, monitoring, and analytics.
• Monitor progress and ensure timelines and engineering standards are met.
• Champion AI-native ways of working across the team and define GenAI best practices.
