Job summary

Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) seeks a Senior Digital Program Specialist - AI Model Engineer to advance enterprise AI capabilities. The role combines model evaluation, semantic engineering, and knowledge-grounding to improve accuracy, reliability and scalability across business contexts.

You will collaborate with AI product managers, engineers and platform teams to prototype, test and deploy secure AI solutions aligned with data governance and cybersecurity requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in AI/ML engineering or knowledge engineering.
• Strong understanding of AI models, large language models and evaluation.
• Hands-on in semantic modelling, ontology design or knowledge graphs.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, semantic search, and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and benchmark AI models against business scenarios.
• Develop evaluation datasets, test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Recommend models/configs and optimize prompts, context and settings.
• Design ontologies, semantic models and knowledge graphs for enterprise data.
• Ensure knowledge grounding and retrieval approaches integrate with AI applications.
• Lead concept prototyping and proof-of-concept work with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and data teams to deliver secure AI capabilities.
• Document testing, validation, and deployment processes and governance.
