Role Overview

We are seeking an AI Investment Strategist to drive the adoption of artificial intelligence within our investment research and decision-making processes. The role focuses on leveraging large language models (LLMs), AI agents, machine learning, and data analytics to enhance research productivity, expand analytical capabilities, and support investment decisions. Working closely with investment professionals, the successful candidate will design and implement AI-powered solutions tailored to macroeconomic research, fixed income, and foreign exchange markets, with a particular focus on emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Powered Investment Research

• Identify opportunities to apply AI technologies to improve the efficiency, depth, and quality of investment research and analysis.
• Develop AI-powered research tools to analyze macroeconomic developments, central bank policies, financial market dynamics, and geopolitical events.

AI Workflows and Agent Development

• Design, develop, and implement AI workflows and agents that integrate LLMs, financial data, quantitative models, and external analytical tools.
• Automate recurring research activities, including data collection, information extraction, market monitoring, comparative analysis, and research reporting.
• Explore advanced AI techniques to support investment hypothesis generation, scenario analysis, and investment decision-making.

Data Analytics and Quantitative Research

• Identify, integrate, and manage relevant internal and external data sources to support AI-driven investment research.
• Develop analytical tools, dashboards, and data pipelines to enhance investment monitoring and research capabilities.

Requirements

• Practical experience developing AI applications using LLMs, including techniques such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool calling, or agent-based workflows.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional technical solutions and independently develop working prototypes.
• Experience developing or deploying AI applications in financial services, asset management, or investment research.
