Job summary

Bank of Singapore, part of OCBC Group, seeks an Multi-strat and Investment AI Specialist to support asset class research and AI-driven investment tools. You will contribute to macro, equities, fixed income and alternatives analysis, while helping design AI productivity tools across the CIO Institute.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in investment research or related finance roles, strong Python skills, and a passion for AI/ML applications in finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment concepts.
• Demonstrated interest in AI/ML technologies with coursework, projects, or prior work.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting; experience with APIs and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to analytical work across asset class and strategy teams including macro, equities, fixed income, alternatives to support the team's investment views.
• Monitor macroeconomic developments, central bank policy, geopolitical events, and asset class dynamics across markets.
• Assist senior strategists with model maintenance, data gathering, scenario analysis, and idea generation.
• Contribute to investment notes, thematic reports, and market commentaries for clients, ensuring content is accessible, timely, and actionable.
• Contribute to quarterly and annual investment outlook publications and client presentations.
• Work with investment intelligence team to design, build, and deploy AI productivity tools to enhance productivity.
• Contribute to document AI tool architectures, usage guidelines, and best practices for adoption across the Institute.
• Act as a liaison between the Institute and technology stakeholders translating domain knowledge into tool requirements.
• Stay current with developments in applied and agentic AI, financial NLP, and AI-native research tools.
