GREENWOODS INVESTMENTS SG PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Assistant AI Analyst to integrate LLM and agentic AI into the investment research process. You will build AI agent workflows, evaluate AI models, and provide analysis that informs investment decisions.

You will assess AI tools, perform sector research on AI developments, automate research tasks, and ensure data quality while adhering to regulatory guidance. Mandarin-language data familiarity is a plus for China A-share work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• 1–3 years of experience in AI/ML, quantitative research, or investment research; fresh graduates welcome.
• Proficiency in Python; working knowledge of SQL; familiarity with R and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, generative AI applications or agentic AI frameworks (e.g. retrieval-augmented generation).
• Ability to explain technical results clearly to non-technical colleagues in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• AI Tool Evaluation: Assess and benchmark LLM providers, agent frameworks and AI tools for accuracy, cost, latency and suitability for internal research use.
• AI Sector Research: Analyze developments in AI models and infrastructure and assess implications for companies in the AI sector.
• Research Automation: Build and maintain AI agent workflows for document ingestion, information extraction, data structuring and automated analysis.
• Data Analysis and Output Validation: Analyze financial datasets, validate accuracy of LLM-generated outputs, maintain data quality.
• Governance Support: Monitor AI tools for accuracy, bias and compliance with PDPA, MAS guidance, and internal policies.
• Reporting: Present findings to investment professionals through research notes, dashboards and presentations.
• China A-share Research Support: Apply AI-assisted data extraction and quantitative analysis to China A-share research, including Mandarin filings.

About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant AI Analyst to join our investment team in Singapore. The role connects large language model (LLM) and agentic AI technologies with the firm's investment research process. You will build AI agent workflows to automate research tasks, evaluate AI models and providers, and provide analysis that supports investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• - AI Tool Evaluation: Assess and benchmark LLM providers,agent frameworks and AI tools for accuracy, cost, latency and suitability for internal research use.
• - AI Sector Research: Analyse technical developments in AImodels and infrastructure and assess their implications for companies in the AIsector.

Requirements

• - Proficiency in Python; working knowledge of SQL;familiarity with R and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, or Python plotting libraries).
• - Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, generative AI applications or agentic AI frameworks (e.g. retrieval-augmented generation,tool use, output evaluation).- Understanding of machine learning and predictive modelling concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• - Internship experience in Singapore's financial services sector, particularly buy-side investment research.
• - Experience in quantitative strategy development for the China A-share market.
• - Professional working proficiency in Mandarin, required for working with Mandarin-language company filings, research and data sources for China A-share coverage.
