Job summary

NTU invites a Research Assistant to work on AI in Education within the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The role focuses on advancing pedagogical research and publishing in conferences, journals or book chapters.

The candidate should have AI model/algorithm experience and a background in education or learning sciences, enabling collaboration with NIE on interdisciplinary data collection and sub-project supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, education, learning sciences, or related interdisciplinary field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in publishing papers within the domain of AI in Education.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary research methodology.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in programming and educational research.
• Soft skills: willing to learn, self-motivated and takes initiative, organized, open-minded.

Responsibilities

• Work on various problem statements related to AI in Education
• Publish in conference, journal papers, or book chapters
• Assist in proposing more sub-projects for student supervision
• Collaborate with NIE for more interdisciplinary research and data collection
