Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field (CS, engineering, physics, math).
• Proven full-stack experience with modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Experience with APIs, databases, distributed workflows, version control, Linux, and CI/CD.
• Strong software-architectural, maintainability, reliability, and observability skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Interest in photonics, scientific computing, or engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance interfaces for layout editing and visualization.
• Build end-to-end workflows connecting frontend, backend, databases, and engines.
• Integrate simulation, routing, AI capabilities into production software.
• Develop APIs, data models, asynchronous tasks, logging, and monitoring.
• Establish automated testing, CI/CD, packaging, and deployment across environments.
• Improve usability, performance, reliability, and documentation.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to turn research prototypes into scalable software.
