Job summary

D-SIMLAB Technologies in Singapore is seeking an AI Engineer to develop and deploy AI-driven software solutions for leading semiconductor manufacturers. You will translate real-world manufacturing needs into practical AI products, collaborating with Software Engineers, Data Scientists and customers across international sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Diploma holders with strong relevant experience in AI/ML or software development are also encouraged to apply.
• 3 years of relevant working experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science or Software Engineering.
• Experience applying AI/ML to real-world business or industrial problems is an advantage.
• Experience in the semiconductor, manufacturing, industrial automation, or simulation domain is an advantage.
• Strong programming in Python and C#/.NET, knowledge of SQL, data processing and data analysis.
• Experience deploying AI/ML models in production environments is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work on projects at semiconductor manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI and ML solutions for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Develop and optimize ML models, algorithms, and data-driven solutions (production optimization, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, forecasting, process improvement).
• Experiment with different AI/ML approaches and evaluate model performance, accuracy, scalability, and robustness.
• Translate business and manufacturing requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Integrate AI/ML models into existing software products and simulation platforms.
• Develop AI-powered features and intelligent automation capabilities.
• Work with Software Engineers to design APIs and services for AI deployment.
• Support end-to-end AI lifecycle from data prep to deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
• Collect, clean, transform, and analyze large-scale datasets from manufacturing environments.
• Identify patterns and anomalies; develop data pipelines and preprocessing workflows.
• Ensure data quality and reliability for model development and production use.
• Explore Generative AI, LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and AI agents; develop prototypes.
• Stay updated with AI/ML developments to enhance products and solutions.
• Develop and maintain reliable, scalable software components supporting AI applications.
• Apply software engineering best practices including version control, testing, debugging, code review, and CI/CD.
• Deploy AI/ML solutions in production and customer environments.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance and reliability of deployed AI solutions.
• Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and provide technical consultation.
