Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Digital Manufacturing AI team in Singapore. The role spans building AI-powered applications and intelligent assistants for semiconductor manufacturing, merging software, data, and AI to boost engineering productivity and decision-making.

You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver scalable solutions, follow Responsible AI practices, and use Git, CI/CD, and automated testing to ship features safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, SWE, AI, Data Science or related field.
Experience with Python & Flask for backend development.
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
Familiarity with cloud technologies and modern software development practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; interest in learning Generative AI technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack software applications using modern engineering practices.
Build and maintain backend services using Python, Flask, REST APIs, and relational databases.
Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular, React, Vue, or similar frameworks.
Integrate applications with manufacturing databases, APIs, dashboards, and enterprise systems.
Develop reusable software components, services, and workflows.
