Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd is seeking a senior AI/ML Scientist to join the Product Engineering team in Singapore. You will build predictive analytics models, agentic AI solutions, data pipelines, and scalable ML workflows to improve yield, quality, cycle time, and cost efficiency in semiconductor manufacturing.

You will mentor Citizen Data Scientists, collaborate across engineering and IT, publish technical insights, and stay ahead in MLOps, AI adoption, and enterprise

Qualifications

• PhD with ≥2 years, or Master’s with ≥5 years, or Bachelor’s with ≥7 years of relevant experience in CS/DS/AI or related field
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience in machine learning, data science, or AI solution development
• Proven experience developing and implementing ML solutions in production environments
• Experience with large-scale structured datasets and predictive analytics applications
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and deploy ML models for yield prediction and process improvement
• Build scalable ML workflows and predictive solutions for actionable insights
• Design intelligent AI agents to automate engineering/workflow tasks
• Partner with engineering to acquire, cleanse, transform, and structure high-volume data
• Mentor Citizen Data Scientists and provide training materials and workshops
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive AI-driven improvements
• Stay current with AI, MLOps, and semiconductor industry technologies
