Job summary

DUOTECH PTE. LTD. seeks a hands‑on AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy practical AI solutions for Customer Service. You will create AI Agents, agentic workflows, RAG knowledge systems, and AI‑driven automation, integrating with Zendesk, CRM and internal APIs.

You will translate business problems into production‑ready AI solutions, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure end‑to‑end delivery from prototype to deployment and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/Data Science or related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering, AI/ML, or applied AI experience.
• Strong Python programming skills and hands‑on AI app building.
• Experience with LLM APIs and/or open‑source LLMs.
• Practical prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and structured outputs.
• REST APIs, JSON, authentication, and system integration understanding.
• Backend services or AI apps using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Ability to take a technical solution from prototype to production.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work with business teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI Agents for Customer Service and operations.
• Build agentic workflows with reasoning, decision‑making, and multi‑step task execution.
• Enable AI Agents to interact with internal systems via APIs and automation tools.
• Implement human‑in‑the‑loop and exception handling for high‑risk cases.
• Develop production‑ready applications using commercial/open‑source LLMs.
• Design AI solutions for classification, summarization, extraction, and automation.
• Evaluate models for accuracy, latency, cost, security, and business needs.
• Design and improve RAG knowledge retrieval systems and QA metrics.
• Develop intent classification and routing with business rule integration.
• Integrate AI decisions with CRM, Zendesk, and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with Automation to connect AI with workflows and APIs.
• Build evaluation frameworks and monitoring for production AI.
