Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD is seeking an AI Engineer to develop and deploy Generative AI, ML, and data science solutions addressing business challenges. You will collaborate with stakeholders, build AI-powered applications, and integrate AI capabilities into business systems.

You will design, implement, and maintain AI models and backend services, work with LLMs, vector databases, and modern frameworks, and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, AI, ML, DS, or related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS preferred).
• Understanding of LLMs: context windows, embeddings, token management.
• Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, embedding techniques.
• Familiarity with backend/full-stack frameworks and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with React/Vue.js and HTML/CSS/TypeScript.
• Docker & Kubernetes for deployment.
• Proficiency in Git, SQL, and modern programming languages.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to understand business needs and identify suitable AI use cases.
• Design and develop solutions using Generative AI, Machine Learning, and data science techniques.
• Build and maintain AI applications, data science models, and agentic AI solutions.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, including LLMs, AI agents, predictive analytics, fraud and anomaly detection, text analytics, and customer segmentation.
• Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, feature engineering, and analysis.
• Develop backend APIs and services for AI model deployment and integration.
• Build frontend interfaces and user experiences for AI-powered applications.
• Identify, review, and resolve reported security vulnerabilities.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of production-grade AI applications.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services, preferably AWS.
• Understanding of LLM concepts, including context windows, embeddings, chunking, and token management.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and embedding techniques.
• Experience with context engineering, harness engineering, and prompt optimization.
• Understanding of AI agent frameworks and multi-agent systems, such as LangChain, LangGraph, and DeepAgents.
• Experience with backend and full-stack development using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Express.js.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and frontend technologies such as React, Vue.js, HTML/CSS, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment.
• Proficiency in Git, SQL, and modern programming languages such as TypeScript or C#.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, or MicroStrategy.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
