Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a detail-oriented statistics/data science professional in Singapore to develop and refine survey methodologies, perform statistical analyses, and advise on research designs. The role emphasizes data quality, SOPs, and collaboration with Operations, Data Management, and QA teams.

You will leverage AI technologies to enhance survey practices, validate data, and generate actionable insights for stakeholders while staying aligned with regulatory and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Research or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in survey methodology, statistical analysis, research, data analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in statistical and data analysis tools such as R, Python, SAS, SPSS, SQL, or equivalent platforms.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, including generative AI, machine learning, and AI-assisted analytics tools, with the ability to apply these technologies to improve research, survey methodologies, and operational processes.
• Good understanding of statistical concepts, sampling methodologies, data quality management, and research best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Experience in survey design, questionnaire development, or quantitative research will be an advantage.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and enhance survey methodologies, sampling frameworks, and research designs to support business and research objectives.
• Conduct statistical analyses and provide methodological recommendations for survey and research projects.
• Monitor and assess data quality, identify inconsistencies or anomalies, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Develop, review, and maintain methodology guidelines, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Survey Operations, Data Management, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure consistent and accurate implementation of survey methodologies.
• Support methodology testing, validation exercises, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance survey effectiveness and reliability.
• Utilize AI tools and emerging technologies to improve survey design, data analysis, quality assurance processes, and operational efficiency.
• Research, evaluate, and implement AI-assisted solutions for data validation, pattern recognition, text analytics, reporting, and process automation where appropriate.
• Provide technical guidance and present methodology findings, insights, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure survey methodologies and research practices comply with applicable statistical standards, regulatory requirements, data governance policies, and confidentiality obligations.
• Stay updated on industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends in survey methodology, statistics, data analytics, and AI technologies.
