Job summary

LINKTRIX Consultants, Asia Pacific is seeking a QA Engineer based in Singapore to own test planning, design, execution, and defect management across manual and automated testing. The role leverages BDD and AI tools to generate test cases from requirements and to build automation scripts within CI/CD pipelines.

You will work closely with Solution Architecture, development, and project teams throughout the SDLC, with potential on-site customer office work and occasional after-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 3–5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar
• Demonstrated experience writing test plans, test cases, and defect reports
• Strong manual testing skills with BDD and test design methodologies
• Experience with at least one automation framework: Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery
• Hands-on use of AI tools to assist with test case generation, automation scripting, or documentation (advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and strategies aligned to project scope, requirements, and risk areas
• Define test coverage across functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
• Identify test data, environments, and tooling needs ahead of each testing cycle
• Write clear, traceable test cases from requirements and user stories
• Maintain a version-controlled test case repository mapped to requirements
• Review requirements to identify testability gaps and ambiguities
• Execute manual tests across functional, regression, and UAT cycles (BDD)
• Log, prioritize, and track defects to closure with verification
• Produce test result reports and client sign-off documents
• Build and maintain automation scripts (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium)
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with DevOps
• Refactor automation suites as the app evolves
• Use AI to generate draft test cases from requirements or user stories
• Utilize AI tools to build, debug, and maintain automation scripts
• Draft and standardize QA documentation using AI (plans, reports, release notes)
• Identify test-coverage gaps with AI to surface edge cases
• Understand AI/LLM concepts to design AI-enabled test cases
