Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking hands-on AI Application Engineers to help move AI prototypes to production. You will work across business users, platform engineers, data teams and security to build scalable, governed AI solutions using Azure OpenAI and related services.

The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, experience with full-stack development, REST APIs, and AI-enabled applications such as chatbots and RAG solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on software engineering experience.
• Experience building enterprise or cloud-native applications.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs, backend services and data integrations.
• Practical experience building AI-enabled applications using large language models, RAG patterns, embeddings or AI orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Refactor prototypes into production-grade solutions with clean architecture and secure APIs.
• Design, build and harden AI-enabled applications (chatbots, RAG, workflow assistants).
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders on use-case outcomes and production-readiness metrics.
• Implement full-stack capabilities across frontend, backend, APIs, data integration, logging and monitoring.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to deploy AI applications using approved cloud patterns and CI/CD pipelines.
