Job summary

VINOVA PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Full Stack Engineer to lead end-to-end development, cloud architecture on Azure, and AI-assisted coding for PUB’s gen-AI procurement web app as part of PUB’s AI initiative.

The role combines frontend/backend work with secure, observable cloud services, and requires strong Git and CI/CD experience in an agile environment. You will collaborate with stakeholders and ensure secure, scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Experience with Git and modern branching workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based development).
• Strong proficiency in both frontend and backend development.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices (DRY, SRP, testability) and AI-augmented development workflows.
• Strong code review instincts — detecting hallucinations, logic errors, and security issues in AI output.
• Experience working in an agile release model and adapting to evolving requirements and user feedback.
• Proficiency with Next.js, TypeScript, React.js, and UI libraries (e.g., ShadCN, Tailwind CSS).
• Experience with relational databases.
• Knowledge of frontend security (CSP, CORS, XSS) and backend security (OAuth, JWT, API rate limiting).
• Experience with cloud security (IAM, Secrets Management, OWASP Top10).
• Proven experience setting up and managing Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with unit and integration testing (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Backend testing with Postman or similar tools.
• Observability & monitoring with APM tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Knowledge of logging frameworks (ELK Stack, Loki).
• API design principles and scalability strategies.
• Bonus: government procurement processes and Azure certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user testing sessions to gather feedback on functionality and user experience.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and testable artifacts.
• Own end-to-end delivery (frontend, backend, and cloud), leveraging AI coding assists while ensuring quality and maintainability.
• Build responsive, accessible web interfaces with ownership of architecture and reusability.
• Design and operate secure, reliable backend services and APIs; manage API contracts and data models.
• Review AI-generated code to identify hallucinations and security issues before integration.
• Design, implement, and operate Azure infrastructure for secure, scalable, highly available solutions.
• Translate requirements into well-architected Azure references, balancing performance, cost, and complexity.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies with secure-by-default practices.
• Implement comprehensive security measures, including authentication, authorization, and API security.
