Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking hands-on AI Application Engineers for a 12‑month fixed-term contract in Singapore. You will help solve AI democratisation challenges by turning prototypes into production-grade systems with secure, scalable patterns.

The role requires strong software engineering, AI tooling fluency and collaboration with diverse stakeholders to deliver governed, observable, and maintainable AI applications at pace.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development across frontend, backend and APIs.
• Experience building AI-enabled applications using LLMs, embeddings and AI orchestration.
• Practical experience with Azure AI services and secure SDLC practices.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Refactor prototypes into production-grade solutions with clean architecture and secure APIs.
• Design, build and harden AI-enabled applications including chatbots and agents.
• Collaborate with product owners to clarify outcomes, journeys and production-readiness requirements.
• Implement full-stack capabilities across frontend, backend, APIs and data integration.
• Integrate applications with approved AI services like Azure OpenAI and Azure ML.
• Apply secure AI patterns including prompt management and content safety controls.
• Develop reusable implementation patterns and engineering playbooks for AI delivery.
• Support production-readiness assessments covering security, privacy and observability.
• Build automated test suites for AI applications and guardrail validation.
• Implement observability for AI apps including logs, latency and costs.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to deploy using CI/CD, containers and API management.
• Document designs, procedures and support guides for post go-live maintainability.
