Job summary

AMD in Singapore offers a 2027 Term 1 Internship focused on AI-driven CPU/GPU development and co-optimization. You will work full-time (40 hours/week) in a hybrid or onsite setup, gaining hands-on experience in state-of-the-art AI and data science practices within a semiconductor context.

You will learn to develop data science models, implement CI/CD and MLOps workflows, and collaborate across platform, data engineering, and IT teams to deliver end-to-end AI-enabled software for AMD product

Qualifications

• Current students studying in universities based in Singapore with a placement/support letter covering the entire internship period.
• Demonstrated programming skills in Python and AI/DS fundamentals.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic, collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to address domain-specific challenges impacting AMD operations.
• Develop data science/AI models or solutions for domain use cases to improve key business metrics.
• Implement and advocate for software engineering practices (CI/CD, MLOps) in cloud-based production environments.
• Partner with platform, data engineering, and IT teams to optimize data workloads for AI and data-centric applications.
