Job summary

Meta is seeking a Business Support Engineer to support partners by troubleshooting and optimizing distributed systems and API integrations, leveraging AI tools for faster resolution. The role emphasizes 24/7 on-call coverage and cross-functional collaboration with global teams.

You will build AI-powered solutions using Llama and other LLMs, and contribute to the end-to-end lifecycle from prototype to production, while documenting learnings for internal and partner use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Software/SRE or similar.
• Proven API development for cloud infrastructures with debugging/outage resolution experience.
• REST APIs, Python, PHP/Hack, and JavaScript/React development experience.
• Experience with PyTorch models and at least one LLM (LLaMA, GPT, Claude, etc.).
• Strong technical writing, documentation, and data-analysis skills (SQL).
• Professional English communication with both technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and reactive engineering support for partners, managing outages and ensuring high partner satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems and partner integrations with root-cause analysis.
• Leverage AI tools to automate tasks and scale impact with an AI-native mindset.
• Build, launch, and optimize AI solutions across prototype to production.
• Develop monitoring systems for partner integrations to ensure high availability.
• Provide 24/7 on-call coverage with rotation, including weekends.
• Collaborate with Platform and Infra teams to fix issues and drive improvements.
• Create clear docs, specs, guides, and presentations for diverse audiences.
• Drive end-to-end execution and coach other engineers on troubleshooting and project delivery.
