Job summary

Facebook Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an engineer to provide technical, engineering support to Meta’s Advertising partners and customers globally. You will work with a global team of Business Support Engineers to ensure high-quality products and a satisfactory partner experience.

You’ll troubleshoot complex outages, build AI solutions with Llama and other LLMs, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive product improvements while maintaining 24/7 on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in software, site reliability, or support engineering.
• Experience with API development on cloud-based infra and debugging outages.
• Proficient in REST APIs, Python, PHP/Hack, and JavaScript/React.
• Knowledge of PyTorch fine-tuning and at least one LLM (Llama, GPT, Claude, Falcon).
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical audiences.
• Experience with data analysis (SQL) to resolve operational issues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
• Professional English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and reactive engineering support for partners and outages.
• Troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems and integrations with root-cause analysis.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting and scale impact.
• Build and optimize AI solutions using Llama and other LLMs from prototype to production.
• Develop performance monitoring for partner integrations and drive improvements.
• Provide 24/7 on-call coverage via rotation (including weekends).
• Collaborate with Platform and Infrastructure teams to investigate issues and fixes.
• Create documentation, specs, guides, and presentations about AI concepts.
• Drive end-to-end execution, mentor engineers, and share AI/ML expertise.
• Analyze trends to identify tactical improvements and share knowledge.
