Cursor is seeking a Forward Deployed Strategist to own strategic customer engagements from discovery through delivery, translating executive needs into tightly scoped, time-boxed AI/LLM-enabled projects. You will partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to configure workflows, integrations, and platform tooling, drive adoption, and ensure measurable business outcomes.

Strong understanding of agentic coding and LLMs in production.
Experience shipping AI-native workflows beyond prototypes.
Excellent executive presence and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Translate ambiguous business problems into time-boxed deliverables with clear ROI.
Lead technical discovery and architecture reviews to validate feasibility and constraints.
Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers on configuration and integrations.
Drive adoption through hands-on enablement, playbooks, and reference workflows.
Monitor feasibility and adjust scope with sponsors as needed.
Identify expansion opportunities with the account team during delivery.
Escalate product gaps and friction with actionable detail to Product/Engineering.
Build reusable playbooks to improve the FDE organization’s capabilities.
Maintain executive relationships as the primary contact from kickoff to handoff.
