Job summary

Starlink Financial Technologies Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Business Development Manager for the AI & Data vertical in Singapore.

You will own the commercial growth of our AI and data client segment, selling our payment infrastructure to AI startups, data platforms, and AI SaaS businesses. You will collaborate with the CEO and cross-functional teams to translate market opportunities into revenue, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to go-live, and building a scalable go-to-market plan for

Qualifications

Fintech / Payments foundations: 3–5 years of business development or B2B sales experience in fintech, payment services, PSPs, merchant acquiring or card payments.
AI & Data specialization: Demonstrable track record selling into AI and/or data companies — AI startups, data annotation/labelling, data marketplaces, GPU/compute providers or AI SaaS.
Payments fluency: Knowledge of B2B/B2C payments, acquiring, VCC and cross-border settlement.
Commercial edge: Comfortable pricing deals and negotiating contracts with 6–12 month sales cycles.
Card economics: Understand interchange, rebates and how VCC credit lines improve DPO and cash flow.
Stakeholder management: Communicate effectively with technical teams and senior decision-makers on payment solutions.
Ownership: Self-starter who creates leads and owns the outcome.
Travel: 10–20% travel will be required.

Responsibilities

Hunt & Close: Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across AI and data companies.
Vertical Strategy: Develop and execute the AI & Data vertical go-to-market plan for Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Use-Case Fluency: Understand AI and data business models and their payment flows and match them to acquiring, payouts, VCC and cross-border solutions.
Ecosystem Presence: Build presence in the AI & Data ecosystem to generate inbound interest and early access to high-growth accounts.
Full Cycle: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through solution design, contracting, onboarding and go-live.
Solution Development: Translate client requirements into commercially viable payment solutions.
Presentation: Present the company's payment infrastructure to technical founders, CFOs and finance operations teams.
