Job summary

ByteDance seeks interns for its Global E-Commerce Affiliate Algorithm team in Singapore. You will work on agent runtimes, memory management, and AI-driven content tooling across creator and merchant ecosystems.

You'll post-train/fine-tune LLMs, implement tool integrations, and help build scalable, multilingual production features tracked by GMV and creator/merchant satisfaction. Apply early and specify your start/end dates.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Software Development, CS, or CE.
• Strong Python plus one of C++, Go, Rust, or Java.
• Solid ML/DL/NLP fundamentals with hands-on experience with LLMs or agents.
• Able to read a paper or engineering blog and translate it into working code.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the agent runtime powering creator/seller agents, orchestrating skills, tools, and context.
• Engineer context and memory for long multi-turn agents (memory, summarization, masking, retrieval).
• Post-train and fine-tune LLMs (SFT/DPO/RL) and build data flywheel signals.
• Design and integrate tools, Skills, and MCP connectors; enable tool search over large inventories.
• Build evaluation with LLM-as-judge and calibration; ensure cost and latency efficiency.
• Develop self-evolving loop with replay, simulator, and Auto-RCA/Auto-GSB/Auto-Policy.
• Deliver an end-to-end surface in 30+ languages, measuring GMV, content, and satisfaction.
