Job summary

ByteDance Singapore invites a PhD intern to join the AI Agent Machine Learning Engineer Internship (Global E-Commerce, Supply Chain and Logistics). You will explore deep learning and operation research for the supply chain of global e-commerce, building intelligent systems and AI agents to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

The role requires strong ML, statistics, and coding skills (Python/Java) and experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Proficient in machine learning and statistics with practical application experience.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python/Java and familiar with ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch).

Responsibilities

Develop deep learning and operations research models for supply chain and logistics.
Pioneer domain-specific LLMs using large e-commerce data for CPT, SFT, and RL; design AI Agents with an Agent+Skill framework.
Use big data and DL to predict ETA and logistics events to improve user experience.
Apply time series forecasting to predict demand and manpower at various granularities.
Collaborate with merchant and merchandise algorithms; support growth and pricing strategies.
Leverage massive data to predict traffic/conversion and optimize merchandising performance.
