Job summary

Echo Technical Pte. Ltd. is seeking an AI Agent Application Engineer to design and develop intelligent AI agents for customer service, operations, and internal productivity tools.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, risk, and operations to convert business requirements into reliable AI applications. The role involves building workflows with large language models, retrieval systems, and tool calling, plus integrating AI apps with internal systems and third-party services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering/IS.
• Proficiency in Python and experience building production-grade backend services.
• Practical experience with LLM APIs, RAG, vector databases or agent frameworks.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, databases, cloud services and distributed systems.
• Ability to translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents for customer service, operations, market information and internal workflow automation.
• Build agent workflows using large language models, retrieval systems, tool calling and structured business rules.
• Integrate AI applications with internal systems, databases and third-party services.
• Develop conversation management, intent recognition, task routing and human-escalation mechanisms.
• Improve response accuracy, stability, latency and cost efficiency.
• Establish evaluation datasets and monitor AI application quality in production.
• Implement access controls, audit logs and safeguards for sensitive information.
• Collaborate with product managers to identify and deliver high-value AI use cases.
