Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB) is seeking an experienced AFC Assurance professional to support the Compliance function. The role involves planning and executing assurance engagements across international operations, assessing controls, and reporting findings to senior management.

Travel of 10–15% is expected as part of coordinating with local compliance teams. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Law and 6–8 years of experience in financial services assurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or equivalent preferred.
• 6–8 years of experience in financial services assurance or compliance testing.
• Strong knowledge of anti-financial crime processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing a robust AFC assurance plan for international operations.
• Plan and execute assurance engagements with defined scope and timelines.
• Conduct reviews of controls design and effectiveness, and draft findings with ratings.
• Coordinate action plans with local compliance teams and Line 1/Line 2 stakeholders.
• Support reporting and MI for senior management and committees.
