Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Law (or equivalent).
• 6-8 years experience in financial services assurance or compliance testing.
• Strong knowledge of anti-financial crime processes and controls (AML, fraud).
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills; able to articulate risks and observations.
• Knowledge of Line 1 business divisions in a full-service bank.
• Understanding of regulatory landscape for financial crime; SEA knowledge valued.
• Project management skills; travel willingness 10-15%.

Responsibilities

• Plan assurance engagements including scope, dependencies, and timelines.
• Research regulatory and policy documents; liaise with local compliance.
• Develop testing methodologies aligned with AFC Assurance.
• Conduct reviews of controls design, implementation and outcomes.
• Draft findings with ratings; report to Head of AFC Assurance.
• Collaborate with Line 1 and Line 2 stakeholders on corrective actions.
• Assist in reporting and MI for Senior Management and committees.
• Leverage data analytics, automation, and AI tools to enhance assessments.
