Qualifications
5+ years of people-management or shop-floor leadership experience.
Solid experience in manufacturing, repair or MRO.
Aerospace/MRO exposure is advantageous.
Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
Responsibilities
Own the overall performance and workflow of an assigned value stream.
Plan and adjust manpower deployment based on workload and capacity.
Maintain visibility of WIP and ensure progress according to plans.
Identify constraints and work with teams to remove bottlenecks.
Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality to address issues and maintain flow.
Track metrics like productivity, delivery, quality, labour utilisation, WIP and lead times.
Lead Lean and continuous improvement programs to reduce waste and improve throughput.
Establish shop-floor management practices, including visual controls.
