Job summary

RECRUIT LYNC PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior engineer to manage and optimize MRO processes for aircraft landing gear products. You will ensure compliance with airworthiness, OEM and customer requirements while leading Lean Six Sigma initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering/process roles and at least 3 years in supervisory or managerial positions, with strong background in aerospace MRO and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering/process experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, aircraft MRO or component repair/overhaul is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of aircraft component repair and overhaul processes.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain MRO processes for aircraft landing gear products.
• Ensure processes comply with applicable airworthiness, OEM and customer requirements.
• Lead process improvement, Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Analyse process performance, production data and quality trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify process bottlenecks, operational risks and opportunities for increased efficiency.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production and MRO teams to resolve process-related issues.
• Provide technical guidance on repair, overhaul and related MRO processes.
• Support investigations into non-conformities, quality issues and process failures.
• Review and maintain process documentation, work instructions and technical documentation.
• Support the introduction and implementation of new repair and MRO processes.
• Drive improvements in productivity, quality, cost and turnaround time.
• Monitor process KPIs and operational performance.
• Coach and develop process and engineering personnel.
• Liaise with customers and OEM representatives where required.
