Vector Search Professionals seeks a seasoned CAB approver and trainer for Data Center Operations across APAC. The role blends governance with hands-on knowledge transfer, requiring strong leadership and deep facility systems expertise.

You will work with SMEs to develop engaging training materials, leveraging AI-enabled methods to upskill the team on electrical, mechanical and general facility systems across multiple mission-critical sites.

Formación

• Strong technical expertise in data center facilities (Electrical/Mechanical/General Facility Systems).
• Experience as Change Advisory Board (CAB) approver or similar change-management role.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs and upskill teams.
• Ability to lead SMEs and coordinate across multiple data center sites in APAC.

Responsabilidades

• Review and approve change requests affecting facility infrastructure of data centers.
• Assess risks, business impact, compliance, and technical feasibility of changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of changes.
• Maintain documentation of approvals and ensure alignment with change management policies.
• Participate in CAB meetings and provide technical input.
• Participation in off-hours CAB meetings or emergency changes as needed.
• Develop and deliver training programs on electrical, mechanical and general facility systems.
• Conduct onboarding training for new hires and regular upskilling for existing staff.
• Organize practical workshops, simulations, and walkthroughs of critical systems.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update content as needed based on new technologies or standards.
• Maintain a knowledge base of SOPs, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
• Leverage AI and digital learning technologies to convert classroom-based training materials into engaging online courses, including voice narration, videos, interactive content and knowledge checks.
• Develop AI-assisted assessments and self-marking quizzes to enable automated testing, scoring, feedback and identification of competency gaps.
• Use AI to create relevant training scenarios, case studies, simulations and refresher content from operational incidents, lessons learned and technical knowledge.

ROLE:

Be a seasoned and versatile professional to take on a duo-role within the Data Center Operations team. The successful candidate will serve as A Change Advisory Board (CAB) Approver responsible for evaluating and authorizing changes that impact Data Centre Operations' infrastructure; and also as A Trainer for the Data Center Facility Equipment (Electrical/Mechanical/General Facility Systems) domain to upskill the Data Center Operations Team.

This is a role ideally for someone with strong technical expertise, a passion for knowledge transfer, and leadership capabilities to influence and align with best practices across multiple mission-critical data center sites in APAC. The incumbent will lead and work closely with other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to enhance the training materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Change Advisory Responsibilities:

• A formal body that evaluates proposed changes in (OT) facility environments to ensure minimal risk and business disruption. CAB Approvers assess changes for feasibility, risk, impact, and alignment with policies.
• Review and approve change requests affecting the facility infrastructure of data centers.

• An expert responsible for educating and upskilling team members through structured programs, hands-on sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with standards.
• Develop and deliver training programs on electrical, mechanical and general facility systems.
• Conduct onboarding training for new hires and regular upskilling for existing staff.
• Organize practical workshops, simulations, and walkthroughs of critical systems.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update content as needed based on new technologies or standards.
• Maintain a knowledge base of SOPs, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
