Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an Ads Solutions Engineer to partner with advertisers and agencies, translating objectives into scalable technical solutions across measurement, integrations, data activation, and campaign execution.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering. You’ll work with Client Partners, Product, and Engineering to remove blockers, accelerate revenue growth, and shape the future of OpenAI’s ads platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a related client-facing technical role.
• Hands-on experience with digital advertising measurement, pixels, conversion APIs, identity solutions, or CRM/data integrations.
• Understanding of advertiser ecosystems including tag managers, CDPs, analytics tools, attribution platforms, and data warehouses.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Experience writing SQL, using APIs, debugging implementations, or working with structured data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Client Partners to provide technical expertise that unlocks new business and accelerates deal closure.
• Lead technical discovery with advertisers to understand data flows and activation goals.
• Design implementation approaches for pixels, APIs, server-to-server integrations, and measurement frameworks.
• Guide onboarding and launch readiness, ensuring proper tracking, attribution, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot implementation issues related to signal quality, delivery, and measurement performance.
• Build demos, proofs of concept, and technical narratives to showcase product value.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to elevate issues and influence roadmap priorities.
• Create playbooks and best practices that scale advertiser adoption globally.
• Help train sales and success teams on technical capabilities and new features.
