Job summary

Republic Polytechnic in Singapore is seeking a meticulous and motivated admissions leader to head a team of officers overseeing full-time diploma admissions, data requests and analysis. You will guide intake planning and ensure processes align with institutional policies.

You will work with internal stakeholders and external agencies, monitor trends, and drive system enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency in the admissions cycle.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification with at least 5 years of relevant work experience and 3 years in leading a team.
• Prior experience in another educational institution would be advantageous.
• High level of accuracy in data handling and reporting.
• Able to multi-task and handle competing priorities within tight timeline.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written) and interpersonal skills.
• IT savvy and proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel VBA, Python, or R) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer admission exercises, including end-to-end admissions process from application review to offer and enrolment.
• Process applications in alignment with institutional policies and admission criteria.
• Review existing processes and propose enhancements to manage the admission exercises in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor, analyse and report trends in admissions and course demand.
• Manage course streaming and course transfer processes.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the admissions policies and procedures, and work with internal stakeholders and external agencies on implementation of admission processes.
• Manage systems enhancement and development, including requirement gathering, user acceptance test and data verification.
• Review, plan and deliver customer-centric services and procedures.
• Manage admissions related enquiries and appeals.
