Job summary

A local educational service provider in Singapore seeks an Office Assistant to manage front counter responsibilities at a primary school. The ideal candidate should possess at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with qualifications of 3 GCE ‘O’ Level Passes. Good communication and inter-personal skills are essential, alongside basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel. This position involves answering calls, assisting with minor injuries, and supporting staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in answering phone calls in a busy environment is required.
  • Ability to perform basic first aid for minor injuries.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls when other lines are busy.
  • Attend to students' minor injuries quickly.
  • Assist walk-in parents and contractors.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Administration Manager.

Job description
Working Hours
  • Mondays to Fridays: 7.00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of ½ hr lunch break
  • Service not required for the months of June and December
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays, June and December.
Requirement
  • 3 GCE ‘O’ Level Passes or its equivalent
  • Positive attitude, pleasant disposition with good communication and inter-personal skills
  • Basic skills in MS Word and MS Excel
  • At least 2 years experience as an Office Assistant / Receptionist at the
  • General Office front counter in a primary school in the past 5 years (i.e. between 2021 to 2025)
Key Roles
  • Assist to answer phone calls when all other lines are busy
  • Attend to students’ minor injuries (eg. apply cold pack or plasters)
  • Assist to attend to walk-in parents / contractors and re-direct them to relevant staff for assistance
  • Adhoc duties assigned by the Administration Manager and School Leaders
