Job summary

ENGIE Services Singapore is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager / Senior Manager to oversee ACMV maintenance programs, manage a team of technicians, and liaise with clients to meet service expectations. The role emphasizes safety, energy efficiency, and adherence to industry standards in a facility-heavy environment.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years of ACMV or facilities management experience, and strong communication and problem-solving

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 Years of experience in ACMV trade or facilities management or project management (healthcare / non healthcare)
• Able to guide and troubleshoot ACMV faults
• Good communication skills and positive mindset
• Meticulous, self-motivated, self-discipline, good communication skills and well-organized
• Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behavior

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Manager / Senior Manager in liaising with client on all works
• Ensure maintenance programs and rectification jobs are managed by a team of technical officers and technicians efficiently
• Oversee maintenance activities for ACMV systems including chiller, DX, ventilation, clean room and BMS
• Advise and lead technical investigations for rectification works
• Maintain daily AC thermal comfort within acceptable limits as per code of practice
• Track & reporting for maintenance work, follow-up on actions, and maintenance checklists
• Implement efficiency improvements on operational processes and energy conservation
• Provide excellent service to meet client expectations
• Coordinate with owners/users, consultants, vendors/contractors on engineering requirements
• Conduct regular inspections of ACMV systems to ensure maintenance programs are implemented
• Provide ACMV technical specifications for upgrades/renovations
• Familiar with local codes of practice including ASHRAE standards
• Ensure all works carried out safely and per safety procedures
• Liaise with contractors for rectification/ad-hoc works
• Investigate, analyze and report breakdowns and faults
• Prepare technical reports and proposals on breakdowns

Responsibilities:

• Assist Facilities Manager / Senior Manager in liaising with client on all works
• To ensure the maintenance programs and rectification jobs are managed by a Team of technical officers and technicians efficiently.
• Ensure and oversee maintenance activities for ACMV systems, including chiller system, chilled water system, DX system, mechanical ventilation system, clean room system, negative and positive room system, building management system and etc.
• Advice and lead the technical investigations for rectification works.
• Responsible for the daily AC thermal comfort are within acceptable limit as per code of practice.
• Tracking & reporting for maintenance work, follow-up on actions, and maintain maintenance checklists and schedules
• Implement efficiency improvement on the operational process, innovating and implementing systems improvement on energy conservation.
• Provide excellent service to meet client expectations.
• Providing feasible solution and coordinate with owners / users, consultants, vendors / contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.
• Conduct regular inspection of existing air-conditioning system to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
• To provide ACMV technical specifications for upgrade or renovation work when required.
• Familiar with local codes of practice, including but not limited to ASHRAE standards.
