The role covers AP/AR, invoicing, SOA preparation, cash flow records, and staff expense processing, with responsibilities extending to month-end close and general ledger reconciliations. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Accounting and has 1–2 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with AutoCount or Xero.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of relevant bookkeeping, AP/AR, or general accounting support experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with AutoCount/Xero accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Verify, review, and reconcile supplier invoices and supporting documents against purchase orders.
• Prepare supplier payments and process payment transactions accurately and on time.
• Issue customer invoices and maintain accurate records of customer receipts and payments.
• Prepare Statements of Account (SOA) and follow up on outstanding and overdue invoices.
• Maintain daily cash flow records and record cash transactions.
• Review and process staff expense claims in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist with monthly depreciation entries and maintain fixed asset records.
• Support month-end closing activities and perform general ledger and account reconciliations.
• Assist with other accounting duties as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital and physical records of financial transactions.
• Ensure proper filing, documentation, and control of accounting records.
• Provide general administrative support and assist the team with ad hoc duties as assigned.
