Job summary

ACRA – Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority in Singapore seeks a functional lead for Accounts Payable to drive governance, deliver timely payments, and enhance AP processes with data analytics and digital solutions.

You will lead month-/quarter-/year-end closes for AP, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure efficient, compliant finance operations.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in accountancy/finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance operations, preferably AP and public sector finance.
• Supervisory experience and strong governance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Payable processing of invoices, payments, staff claims, refunds and grant disbursements.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities for Accounts Payable.
• Oversee GST returns submissions to IRAS and manage cashflow for timely payments.
• Review workflows and controls to strengthen governance and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve complex payment matters.
• Drive automation, analytics and digital solutions to enhance finance operations.
