Job summary

GVT Government Technology Agency is seeking a Finance professional to manage Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets within the FIP Division. You will ensure accurate vendor payments, asset capitalization and disposals, and support month-end processes while adhering to internal controls and policies.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Accountancy with 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Proficiency in Workday or a comparable ERP system.
• Ability to use data analytics and visualization tools to identify trends, risks and exceptions.
• Familiarity with automation and AI applications in Finance; coding is not required.
• Able to explain financial and system-related matters to non-finance stakeholders.
• Meticulous, self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: review and verify vendor invoices for compliance and timely processing; monitor aging and accruals.
• Fixed Assets: manage asset capitalization, disposals, verification and asset records reconciliation; support audits.
• Month-end and year-end activities: prepare accruals, reconciliations, schedules; participate in finance projects such as automation enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and provide transaction evidence and documentation for audits.
