Mercuria in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Payable & Systems Automation Analyst to support day-to-day AP operations, process invoices, and run payments, working closely with treasury and finance teams.

You will identify routine tasks for automation, build solutions using Excel Macros/VBA, Power Query, and Python, and help improve controls while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Fluency in English is required; Chinese language skills are advantageous for regional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy/Finance required or related field.
• Experience in Accounts Payable in a large or high-volume environment.
• Experience supporting process improvement, transformation or automation in finance operations.
• Basic knowledge of Python and willingness to advance automation skills.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems and strong Excel proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Support day-to-day Accounts Payable operations including invoice processing and preparing payment runs.
• Assist in validating payment requests with local teams including Treasury and Settlements.
• Resolve payment-related queries with business units, banks, and external parties.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive AP tasks using Excel Macros/VBA, Power Query, Python.
• Provide backup coverage for AP team members during leave and assist with reporting submissions.
