Job summary

SUNVIEW ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting and finance administration in Singapore.

You will handle invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, payroll support, and monthly closings, contributing to accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Certificate in Accounting or Finance, has 1–3 years of relevant experience, and is proficient in Excel and common accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or AutoCount.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in Singapore accounting practices is an advantage.
• Knowledge of GST and CPF procedures will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, AutoCount or similar.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the engineering, construction or industrial sector will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and finance administrative work.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and supplier statement reconciliations.
• Monitor customer payments and outstanding invoices.
• Process staff expenses and claims.
• Assist with payroll and CPF-related administration.
• Maintain proper accounting records and filing.
• Assist with monthly closing and management reports.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and project teams regarding invoices and payments.
• Support the Finance/Accounts Manager with other duties when required.
