Job summary

HS-CM ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an accounting professional to support daily finance functions in a dynamic, high-volume environment. You will manage accounts, invoicing, payroll data, GST, and budgeting tasks while coordinating with auditors and vendors.

The role requires accuracy, independence, and strong Excel/Word skills, with attention to deadlines and compliance with the Employment Act.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or Accounting related qualifications.
• Minimum 1 year relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Proactive, committed and able to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Positive attitude, hardworking, initiative; able to work independently.
• Computer literacy in Excel and Word.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, good filing system.
• Inquisitive, analytical mind with proactive problem solving.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of Accounts, and prepare relevant schedule and reports to be ready for Audit.
• Timely data entry to the accounting system and preparation of reports.
• Reconcile accounting records and bank records.
• Prepare Invoices and debt collection.
• Check and follow up with payment matters.
• Liaison with Clients and suppliers and vendors, external Auditors and Tax Agents.
• Prepare and file GST returns.
• Submit survey reports required by government.
• Provide other supporting functions to the Finance Division and Company.
• Prepare fortnightly payroll from collection of data to arranging payment to staff.
• Assist on budget and forecasting exercises.
• Handle staff attendance, leave updating.
• Knowledge of Employment Act.
• Any other ad hoc assignments.
