ST Venture Employment Agency is seeking a Finance Assistant to support accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, reporting, payments, payroll, and general finance tasks in a Singapore-based office near Bugis.

The role requires a diploma or higher in accounting/finance, 1–2 years of accounting experience, and proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily AR/AP functions, including data entry and journal posting.
• Prepare invoices for all revenue streams and match collections with invoices.
• Track outstanding payments and follow up with customers and donors.
• Perform AR/AP reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain fixed assets schedules and balance sheet item schedules.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) financial and operational data for accounting/reporting.
• Support monthly and annual closing reports.
• Process weekly payment runs to suppliers and vendors.
• Process staff claims and assist in payroll preparation.
• Manage petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist in monthly and annual closing processes and ad-hoc tasks.
