Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum of accounting functions including AP, AR and GL entries and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain meticulous financial records to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments and employee reimbursements.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances with clients.
• Assist in compiling financial statements and annual budgets.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local tax regulations.

About the Role

Our esteemed client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking an Accounts Executive to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Accounts Executive
• Location: Kaki Bukit
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 8am to 5.30pm; Sat, 8am to 12pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + Bonus

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) entries, along with regular bank reconciliations.
• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of meticulous financial records to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting.
• Support the finance team in executing efficient monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.
• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all incoming invoices, outgoing payments, and employee expense reimbursements.
• Monitor aging reports and engage in professional follow-up actions with clients and customers regarding outstanding balances.
• Assist in the compilation of financial statements and the development of annual corporate budgets.
• Uphold strict adherence to prevailing accounting standards, local tax regulations, and internal company protocols.

Job Requirements

• Holds a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related professional field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in handling full set of accounting, preferably from manufacturing industry.
• Comfortable working half day on Saturdays.
• Able to start work in short notice.
