Job summary

Highland Security Services & Investigation PTE. LTD. is seeking an accounting professional to manage full-cycle accounting, invoicing, reconciliations, and monthly reporting. The role requires strong Excel skills and exposure to XERO, with a focus on accuracy and timely processing.

The ideal candidate will be independent, detail-oriented, and able to liaise with suppliers, banks, and auditors. Prior payroll support and GST submissions are a plus in a dynamic environment in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma with minimum 2-3 years’ experience in handling full sets of accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and exposure in XERO an advantage
• Independent with minimum supervision and able to meet deadlines
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous and good analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and finance-related activities.
• Prepare and issue invoices, bills, receipts, and payment documents.
• Record and maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain proper payment records.
• Process supplier invoices and arrange payments.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and accounting summaries.
• Assist with payroll processing and related payment records.
• Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, statements, and other financial documents.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper supporting documents are maintained.
• Assist with GST and other statutory submissions, where applicable.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, banks, auditors, and relevant authorities when required.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.
